Fossil Shell Jasper Sphere- Black

Also known as shell marble, thousand eye stone, sea shell jasper, they are actually brachiopod fossils preserved in gray limestone. They can appear with black, white, and gray colored patterns that were conglomerate group of fossils. These spheres have inclusions of what appears to be white quartz, but is likely calcite.

This material is often called something like, "China black shell fossil marble" (also comes in gray). The fossil types found vary by region. So, each piece of these types of materials will be truly unique.
